Songs of my life.

My name is Amy. I was born and raised in Taiwan and I just moved to the U.S one year ago. I like to travel all around the world and I also enjoy music while I am traveling. “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything,” said Plato. How does music make you feel? Inspired? Happy? Energy? Whatever the feeling, it is based on emotion. Music has an impact on our mood, our memory, performance, and wellbeing. I am a sentimental person, which means I always rely on emotions more than reason. Love, romance, and passion are the most common emotions that songs are all about. Therefore, I love to listen to songs that are filled with meaning and emotion, especially love songs. This playlist includes five love songs that represent my entire life.

👉 Breaking Free 👈

This song represents the specific storyline of the movie “ High School Musical” when

Troy and Gabriella are in deep relationship goals and they wish to complete their life

dreams. It is so meaningful and brings back so many memories from my high school,

where met my first love. Every time I listen to this song, it reminds me of our relationship.

I still remember the first letter he wrote to me and the first place where we had our date.

👉 Love Story 👈

“Love Story" is a song written and recorded by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

The song was released in September 2008, and by November of that year, reached the top

of the Billboard country chart, becoming her third Billboard No. 1. I still remember that this

song is also the first English song I learned. In addition, although in Shakespeare's version

of Romeo and Juliet they die at the end, the last part of the lyrics changes it to the happy

ending. I felt like it was the lovely ending that every girl wants to go with her love story,

and that's the reason why I love this song.

👉 I Won't Give Up👈

"I Won't Give Up" is a song by American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz. It was released

as the first official single from his fourth studio album. This song reminds me of my

heartbroken time. I was in a long-distance relationship 5 years ago. One day I got a

message from my ex-boyfriend, he texted me that he wanted to end the relationship.

At that time, this song gave me some courage. It helps me move on and through difficult

times.

👉 Lucky 👈

“Lucky,” the sweet, swaying duet written by Jason Mraz. I absolutely loved this song the

very first time I heard it. It reminds me of my husband and me, we have been together for many years and are truly married best friends. I highly recommend you to listen. With the rhythmic melody, I believe it will bring you a good day.

👉 Perfect 👈

In my opinion, this song is the most beautiful song in the world. Ed Sheeran would like to tell the world what love truly means and how everyone deserves true love someday. The song is a blessing for those who are into deep thoughts and music. It signifies how love can create a beautiful difference in a person’s life and makes it worth living. Therefore, that’s the reason why I love this song so much, I never get tired of hearing it.

💛💙💛 Thank you for reading my playlist. Each song represents every stage of life. I hope you enjoyed it. 💛💙💛

5 Things to Know About Dr. Sylvia Earle

Can you imagine that we've taken and eaten more than 90 percent of the big fish in the sea? Let’s talk about the leading ocean protector Sylvia Earle, a marine biologist.  She is an Explorer-in-Residence at the National Geographic Society who was named one of Time magazine's "Heroes for the Planet." Sylvia has pioneered research on marine ecosystems, with a special focus on exploration, conservation, and the development of new technologies for effectively accessing the deep sea and other remote environments. Here are five things you should know about Dr. Sylvia Earle.   #1: She is a hero of the ocean.  Sylvia Earle is probably more at home under the sea than she is on dry land.  Actually, she spent more than 60 years exploring, protecting, and researching the world’s oceans. Sylvia has led more than a hundred expeditions, logged over 7,000 hours underwater, and has authored more than 190 scientific, technical, and popular publications. In 1998, she also got th...

3 apps and my life are inseparable! [Infographic]

Do you have any app that is really important to you? I do.. Firstly, Imagine living far away from your family and friends. An app named LINE is the best way to connect with them while also using lovely stickers to express your emotions. My dad is a shy person, he never said I love you to me, but by sending stickers I can feel his love without words.         Secondly, Did you know that Spotify had 130 million premium subscribers worldwide? I am one of them. I have been using this app for almost 6 years. We all understand the magical power of music and this app can bring that magic.       Third, some people might ask why Instagram? In my opinion, not all social media is the same. If Twitter is where we go to express our views and vent our frustrations, and Facebook is where we connect with friends and family, then Instagram is where we go to tell the story of our life and how we want it to b...
